FAQS

Do I need a membership to a gym?
You do not need to have a gym membership. The beauty of this program is that it can be done just about anywhere. The fitness equipment used throughout the workouts is inexpensive and can all be purchased at a local sporting goods store or on GoToGabby.com. For the cardio workouts, you can do them in a gym or outside on the road/trail. It is helpful if you have access to a pool but NOT mandatory.

This looks too hard for me! Should I still join?
Yes you should join. In the 'How To Use It' section of Train 360 Mike explains how to MODIFY the workload if it is too difficult for you. Remember, any amount of exercise is better than none. As long as you are pushing yourself on a consistent basis then you will benefit.

Do you use any Fitness machines in the workouts?
No. Only a stability ball, bands, a bench, a broom handle, and some paper plates. We emphasize moving the body in different planes of motion, using the body weight as a primary tool.

Do I get one on one help from a trainer?
In the video demos, Mike and Gabby show you and tell you how to perform the exercises in detail. For other questions you can submit them to
info@gotogabby.com. We will post the most frequently asked questions each month in the community section. Please use the community section to reach out to other members going through the same experience.

I don't like to swim, can I choose something else?
Most cardio workouts that have the more off-beat activities such as rowing or swimming also offer an alternative that may be more to your liking. If you don't like any of the choices for the recommended workout of the day, simply choose one of your favorites from a previous day.

I don't have a bench in my house, what can I use?
We strongly encourage you to make the investment to get all the equipment for the program. It will really help you get the most of the workouts. If a bench is just too much trouble you can try to modify the exercises a bit and do them using a sturdy chair and/or a couch, depending on the exercise.

Sometimes I can't remember how to do the exercise when I go to the gym. What should I do?
We recommend you practice each move several times before you go workout. We also recommend writing down key words next to your printed out workout to help you remember. Exercises do show up again in subsequent workouts so you will start to learn the nomenclature and spend and less time viewing them. But the videos are always there for you!

What is my resting heart rate and how do I find it?
Resting Heart Rate (RHR) is a good measure of general fitness. The average female's RHR is 75 beats per minute (bpm) and the average male's is 70 bpm. As you become more fit you should see your RHR drop a few beats.

To measure your RHR, use your index and middle fingers and find your pulse on the side your neck. Count the beats for one minute. (Alternatively, you can use a heart rate monitor).

Take your RHR first thing in the morning (on an empty bladder) while lying down.

If your resting heart rate begins to go up over a period it may be a sign that you aren't getting enough sleep or are over-training.

Can I speak to Gabby?

Gabby gets many requests a day. It is impossible for her to answer everyone's questions. You may submit a question and check back to see if yours was one of the ones she chooses to answer. To view questions and answers visit the Community section.

I tried to load a personal photo to my Zone page but it said memory full?
The max size of a photo that can be loaded is 8mb. If you have photo resizing software, resize your photo just under 8 mb. If you do not have the software you can download it
for free if you type in photo resizing on google.
